Dr. Betty Bellman is a board-certified dermatologist and the creator of CapriClear Multi-Purpose Moisturizing Spray.

Born in Montreal, Canada, Dr. Bellman majored in biology and fine art at the University of Miami, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She completed her Medical Degree at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine in 1991. After serving a one year internship in Internal Medicine, Dr. Bellman completed a fellowship in Dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. She completed her residency at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery in 1995, and has been in private practice in Miami ever since.

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an active member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the Dade County Medical Association and the Florida Society of Dermatology. She has given many lectures and has published over 25 journal articles/book chapters.

Bellman created CapriClear® as a safe, chemical-free and preservative-free solution to the dryness, itching and irritation suffered by many of her patients as well as by her own toddler. She also wanted to create a spray-on alternative to messy creams and lotions so that patients would be more likely to get the results they needed. The final product features a single, supremely pure ingredient: fractionated coconut oil. Made in the U.S.A., CapriClear is patented, and proudly bears the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance™.

Since 1999, Dr. Bellman has been a Dermatologist in solo private practice at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She has over 20 years of experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology, performing comprehensive skin cancer screenings and surgery as well as osclerotherapy for conditions such as broken capillaries and spider veins.
